Germán Hernández Amores was a Spanish painter of mythological and classical subjects. Amores studied at the Fine Arts Academy of San Fernando in Madrid. Then in 1851 he went to Paris and perfected his skills, painting the Mythical Greco-Roman world as well as literary subjects and scenes of antiquity.
