Vietnamese Artist Vu Cao Dam studied sculpture and painting in Hanoi, but moved to France in 1931, once making a bust of a visiting Ho Chi Minh. “Divinity” is a merging of French Impressionism with the Buddha of Indochina. Here a young girl is rendered as a Goddess in a splendid saffron robe.
