Austrian Georg von Ramberg studied and worked in Germany. Besides being a respected painter in his day, Von Ramberg was a professor of art in Munich and created a fresco for Martin Luther’s former room at Wartburg Castle. This piece by Von Ramberg, “Rendezvous”, is a Romantic genre of two lovers meeting on an alpine lake. Remastered at our Studios in 2015.
