French Rococo artist Louis Marin Bonne was dramatically influenced by the prolific Francois Boucher. Bonnet excelled in the art of Pastel and produced a treatise entitled Le Pastel engraving where he discusses new advances in the technique. Over his lifetime composed hundreds of prints and drawings as we see here in his Venis and Cupid, a quintessential rendering. Remastered at Art Chateau.
