George Quaintance was an artist who specialized in pictures dealing with Mid-Century Modern homosexuality from the 20th century. Quaintance subject matter was considered quite risque at the time and was an influence on many later homoerotic artists, such as Tom of Finland. His paintings were traded and often appeared in Gay pulp magazines of that era.
