Paul Artot BELGIAN[1875—1958] L'AMOUR SAUVÉ DES EAUX, ca.1904 Paul Artot, born in Brussels, Belgium on February 13, 1875, was a pupil of the Academy Homeland and was a student of Portaels. He travelled extensively through Italy, especially in Florence, and devoted himself to the study of Tuscan masters of the fresco. His works included portraits and decorative compositions, but he also produced watercolor drawings and lithographs. He was a professor at the Glasgow School of Art and also taught at the College of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
